SOUTH WHITLEY – April Salazar and Arianna Bradshaw each had a hat trick in Fort Wayne Wayne’s 10-0 girls soccer win at Whitko Monday night.

WINONA LAKE – A sizzling start to the year continued for Grace’s women’s tennis team on Monday with a 9-0 win over Holy Cross.

BOURBON — Triton tennis lost on all five courts to visiting Bremen Monday night.

SYRACUSE — Wawasee volleyball showed fight but only took one game from visiting Westview in a 25-11, 25-19, 19-25, 25-15 loss at home Monday.

MISHAWAKA – The Warsaw volleyball team lost a 3-0 final at Class 4-A No. 4 ranked Penn Monday night.

DAYTON, Ohio – Fort Wayne defeated Dayton, 6-0, Sunday to force a deciding game Monday night for the Eastern Division championship.

FORT WAYNE – Grace’s women’s tennis team improved to 5-1 on the season with a hard-fought 6-3 victory at St. Francis on Saturday.

LAKEVILLE – LCA split its two games at Saturday’s LaVille Soccer Invite at Newton Park.

MUNCIE – Ball State piled up several big plays to beat UAB 51-31 Saturday afternoon.

WINONA LAKE – Grace slipped at home to St. Francis, 3-1, in volleyball at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center.

PLYMOUTH — NorthWood girls golf earned its sixth straight Northern Lakes Conference title with the NLC Tournament championship at Pretty Lake Golf Club Saturday.

YORKTOWN – Sydney Abbott secured a spot in the NCCAA National Championships on Saturday for Grace’s women’s golf team.

BELLEVILLE, Ill. – Grace’s women’s soccer team finished its second game in as many days with a 3-0 victory over Lindenwood-Belleville on Saturday.

COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. – Dayton defeated West Michigan, 4-3 in 11 innings, to advance to meet Fort Wayne in the Midwest League playoffs.

SYRACUSE – Concord won a shoot-out at Wawasee, 51-29, Friday night.

ROCHESTER – Rochester ran over Whitko, 37-7, Friday night in Three Rivers Conference football.

ELKHART – Warsaw football coach Phil Jensen got his 100th win at WCHS as the Tigers topped Memorial 17-6 Friday night.

MARION – Grace’s cross country team kicked off the 2017 season on Friday with the IWU Twilight Invitational.
