LCA Soccer: Ladies Fall To SB Trinity
SOUTH BEND – The Lakeland Christian Academy girls soccer team lost a 3-2 decision at South Bend Trinity Friday night.
Tori Calizo and Anna Reimink each scored a goal in the contest for the Cougars.
Trinity got a pair of goals from Rachel Was and one from Grace Behrens for the win.
Trinity had a 14-8 edge in shots and a 3-1 advantage in corner kicks in the match.
“We seemed to play slower than normal tonight,” said LCA coach Nat Raber. “It was great to see the girls once again claw their way back into the game, but the results weren’t what we were hoping for.”
LCA drops to 1-4 on the season. The Cougars will host Wabash on Monday at 5 p.m.
