NorthWood Tennis: Panthers Blank Bruins

NorthWood SportsGOSHEN – The NorthWood boys tennis team earned a 5-0 win over host Bethany Christian Friday night.

The Panthers dominated on both doubles courts to highlight the non-conference shutout over the Bruins.

The team of Jared Hoffman and Brant Mast posted a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles to pace the winners.

The duo of Trevor Klotz and Trajan Schwartz won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles for NorthWood.

Wes Troyer also rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles for the Panthers.

Landon Holland and Jack Wysong each won in three sets at No. 2 and 3 singles respectively for NorthWood. Holland prevailed 6-1, 4-6, 6-0, while Wysong won 3-6, 7-5, 6-0.

The Panthers improve to 7-3 overall on the season.

The NorthWood junior varsity won 7-1 to improve to 6-5-2.

NorthWood plays at Westview Monday night.
