Grace Tennis: Men Down Pilots

MISHAWAKA – The Grace College men’s tennis team defeated conference foe Bethel Tuesday.

ROYAL CENTER — Triton’s volleyball team lost a four-game match at Pioneer Tuesday.

NAPPANEE — Plymouth ballooned a one-goal advantage out to 4-1 over the final 17 minutes, and the Class 3-A No. 14 Rockies remained unbeaten on senior night at NorthWood.

ANGOLA — Wawasee High School alum Joel Bickel was recently named to the Trine University Athletic Hall of Fame for his record-breaking turn with Thunder men’s golf.

OAK HILL — Tippecanoe Valley’s volleyball team beat host Oak Hill in four sets on the road Monday night.

SYRACUSE – Tryouts are on the horizon for Wawasee Select travel girls basketball teams.

HOWELL, Mich. – Grace’s women’s golf team won its second tournament of the fall at the Cleary Invitational on Monday.

MIDDLEBURY – Northridge outfought Wawasee for a 3-0 NLC volleyball win Monday night.

PERU – Whitko freshman Breanna Keirn netted her first-ever hat trick to boost Whitko to a 3-1 win over Peru.

WINONA LAKE – Emily Mast and Kurt Hamlin were named NCCAA Players of the Week in women’s tennis and men’s soccer.

Pairings were drawn Monday night by the IHSAA for boys tennis sectional play which begins later this week.

BOURBON – Triton athletic director Mason McIntire offered a letter of appreciation for the support the Triton community received the past week.

WARSAW – The Lakeview Middle School 8th grade volleyball team won a tournament championship on Saturday.

INDIANAPOLIS – The IHSAA held its boys and girls soccer sectional draws Sunday night, laying out the routes for the first-ever three class format.

SYRACUSE – Warsaw won all three games of the soccer tripleheader Saturday at Wawasee.

WARSAW – Warsaw and Tippecanoe Valley earned multiple wins in the Warsaw Volleyball Invite.

PLYMOUTH – NorthWood won two individual titles while Concord won the team title at the Northern Lakes Conference Boys Tennis Championships.

CULVER – NorthWood, Warsaw and Wawasee all had teams at Saturday’s Culver Academy Cross Country Invite.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Ball State mounted a comeback, only for Western Kentucky to pull away for a 33-21 win Saturday.

BLOOMINGTON – The Hoosiers defeated Georgia Southern 52-17 Saturday afternoon.

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio – Ulisses Miranda scored in the 108th minute to lift Grace’s men’s soccer team to a 1-0 win over Ohio Christian.
