Tippecanoe Valley tennis claimed a 5-0 win over Three Rivers Conference foe Whitko Tuesday.

The Vikings pretty much cruised to the win, giving up only six total games on the five courts. The closest match was at one singles, where Seth Hoffman defeated Nathan Smith, 6-3, 6-1. Garrett Feldman put away Bryce Tucker, 6-0, 6-1 at three singles, while Connor Frentzel and Jeremy Landis downed Oj Luu and Isaiah Koher, 6-1, 6-0 at two doubles.

Eric Wright swept Aiden Hoffman, 6-0, 6-0 at two singles, and Dakota Parker and Payton Mills shut out Charlie French and Kaige Michael, 6-0, 6-0 at one doubles.

Seventh grade football
Tippecanoe Valley’s seventh grade football team earned a convincing 28-0 win over Three Rivers Conference opponent Rochester Tuesday.

Marcus Bernicky finished with 51 yards and a pair of touchdowns on seven carries Hunter Craft rolled up 46 yards and a TD in five carries, and Tayde Kiser totaled 37 yards and a score in five carries Noah Prater finished with five carries for 33 yards, while Marcus Jansma went 2 of 3 passing for 19 yards.

Rochester’s eighth grade did not have a team.

Sixth grade volleyball
Tippecanoe Valley’s sixth grade volleyball teams split with TRC foe Rochester Monday night.

The TVMS A team won, 25-8, 25-9, led by Sidney Nelson with 14 aces, and Jessa Schrader with two good serve receive passes.

The Vikings B team lost 25-13, 25-18, meanwhile.

Kendall Craig tallied two aces, and Abby Goble recorded two good serve receives for Vally.
