WINONA LAKE – The LCA junior high girls were champions of Saturday’s LCA Tournament.

SOUTH BEND – Josh McDaniel scored 32 points and LCA captured the outright Hoosier Plains Conference title with a 56-49 win at South Bend Career Academy Thursday night.

WINONA LAKE – LCA earned at least a share of the Hoosier Plains Conference title with a 96-31 boys basketball win over Howe Military Tuesday night.

WINONA LAKE – LCA pulled off another impressive win, beating Oregon-Davis 51-50 Friday night in boys basketball.

SOUTH BEND – A 20-0 run in the second quarter helped LCA pull away from South Bend Community Baptist in a 65-30 boys basketball win Tuesday night.

LCA Grabs Jr. High Win

WINONA LAKE – LCA’s junior high girls basketball team earned a big win against Elkhart Christian Friday night.

WATERFORD MILLS – LCA walloped Hamilton and LPC edged Fremont to reach the finals of the Bethany Christian Girls Basketball Sectional.

WINONA LAKE – Josh McDaniel notched another scoring mark in Thursday’s 68-56 loss to Lakewood Park Christian.

WATERFORD MILLS – Anna Reimink and LCA got over a giant hurdle Tuesday, beating Bethany Christian, 39-34, in overtime of the opening game of the Bethany Christian Girls Basketball Sectional.

The area’s two Class A girls basketball sectionals feature a pair of wide open fields, and Lakeland Christian Academy and Triton are both hoping to capitalize this week.

WINONA LAKE – LCA beat Clinton Christian 54-32 Saturday night to set a girls basketball program records for wins in a season.

FORT WAYNE – LCA beat Fort Wayne Blackhawk 37-33 Thursday night to trigger several girls basketball program notes.

FORT WAYNE – Cornerstone Christian had just a bit more firepower than LCA in a 68-60 boys basketball win Tuesday night.
