Boys Soccer

The Cougars had full command of Tuesday’s match against Knox in a 5-0 result on LCA’s campus.

Parker Stewart had a huge match, scoring two goals and assisting on another as part of an offensive onslaught by the Cougars, which fired 15 shots on target. LCA had 23 shots overall, and saw Garrett McCoomb, Mark McQuade and Theran McKeever all pot a goal. McQuade added an assist to his night.

Remington Swanson earned his second clean slate of the campaign, making five stops.

LCA, after losing three straight, improves to 2-3 overall with another major test in front of it Thursday in a home match against Argos.

Volleyball

LCA lost a tough one Tuesday at home to Culver Academy in five. LCA held a 2-1 advantage after 25-22, 16-25, 25-23 scores, but could not pull together in 25-15, 15-10 CGA wins in the final sets.

Kyla Kohler had a good game for LCA, leading the team with 17 assists and nine kills and added six aces. Heather Plastow added 14 digs and six aces and Cami Dahms added eight kills and eight digs.

LCA will host Granger Christian Thursday evening.
