GOSHEN – The Northern Lakes Conference officially issued its lists for the boys and girls soccer award winners for the 2015 season.

WINONA LAKE – A preview for the Grace College men’s basketball team.

UPLAND – In the regular-season finale on Saturday, Grace’s women’s soccer team and Taylor played to a 1-1 draw.

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State pulled away for a 52-26 football win Saturday against Indiana to remain undefeated.

WINONA LAKE – Grace’s men’s soccer team came up just short in its pursuit of a Crossroads League championship, falling 3-2 to Taylor in overtime on Saturday.

MUNCIE – Central Michigan topped Ball State by a 23-21 final Saturday in college football action.

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. – The Grace College cross country team took part in the Great Lakes Challenge on Saturday.

ALBION – Westview survived a wild first game to sweep Whitko out of the Class 2-A volleyball sectional at Central Noble Saturday afternoon.

NEW CARLISLE – Warsaw’s boys fell a couple feet short of another trip to the IHSAA state cross country finals. The Tigers finished seventh at Saturday’s New Prairie Semi-state, missing the cut for a state meet trip by one place. Warsaw’s Zeb Hernandez and Owen Glogovsky, however, did qualify for state as individuals.

NEW CARLISLE – Warsaw’s girls have advanced to the IHSAA state cross country finals with a fifth-place finish at Saturday’s New Prairie Semi-state. Triton’s Baylee McIntire and Wawasee’s Elizabeth Zorn saw their individual seasons end.

INDIANAPOLIS – Culver Academy’s Sam Concannon was the No. 1 singles state champion while Goshen’s No. 1 doubles team lost in the state semi-finals Saturday at Park Tudor.

NOTRE DAME – The Grace College women’s basketball team lost its opener 56-47 at Holy Cross Saturday afternoon.

MISHAWAKA – No. 10 Elkhart Memorial defeated Warsaw 3-0 in a volleyball sectional semifinal thriller at Penn Saturday.

HUNTERTOWN – Fort Wayne Carroll, up huge in the second half, had to withstand a furious Warsaw rally to eventually pull off a 49-21 win Friday night in the Class 6-A No. 3 football sectional.

SOUTH WHITLEY – Whitko won big over Prairie Heights in the opening round of 2A sectionals.

INDIANAPOLIS – Goshen’s No. 1 doubles team and Culver Academy’s ace will both be playing for a state championship Saturday after wins in Friday’s IHSAA Boys Tennis State Quarterfinals at Park Tudor High School.

MADISON, Wis. – Alec Ingold ran for two short scores, Joel Stave threw for 322 yards and Wisconsin’s stifling defense held Purdue to a season-low 191 yards in a 24-7 victory Saturday.

FORT WAYNE – For the second time in two days, Grace’s volleyball team pulled out a five-set victory in Crossroads League play. The Lady Lancers (17-13, 8-6 CL) fell behind twice in the match but rallied each time to beat St. Francis on Saturday.

SOUTH BEND – USC AD Pat Haden was light-headed and taken to the locker room prior to a game at Notre Dame Saturday night.
