MILFORD — Price Auto Repair in Milford is busy cleaning up this morning following damage caused by a fire Tuesday night, July 28. Milford Fire Department responded to the blaze late last night.

MILFORD — Emergency personnel are currently responding to a fire at Price Auto in Milford on SR 15.

Milford’s proposed 2016 budget managed to successfully cut close to 6 percent from last year, bringing its total to $1,585,450, down from $1,684,402 in 2015. “It will be a tight year,” Town Treasurer Joellen Free stated. This is the second year the town has had to reduce its budget.

NORTH WEBSTER — A North Webster woman was arrested on Saturday, July 25, after allegedly committing welfare fraud that amounted to over $50,000 of wrongfully obtained assistance from the government.

  The Lakeland Eagles Club of Syracuse concluded their 2015 People Helping People philanthropy campaign with a celebration and presentation of checks on Saturday evening.
