Cora E. SchrockCora E. Schrock, 90, of Goshen, passed away at her home Sunday evening, May 17, 2015.

She was born May 23, 1924, in Arthur, Ill. to Edward J. and Annie (Gingerich) Yoder.

She married Raymond Y. Schrock on Dec. 21, 1946 in Arthur, Ill.. He died April 2, 2009.

A Goshen resident since 1961, Mrs. Schrock worked at Peddler’s Restaurant and Linway Family Restaurant. She also arranged and delivered flowers.

A longtime member of Holdeman Mennonite Church, Cora enjoyed family,birds and flowers.

Survivors include four daughters: Julie A. (Tom) Gunden, Milford; Janet S. (Bill) Carney, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Gail K. (Mark) Neumann, Metamora, Ill.; and Marcia J. Hershberger, Wakarusa; three sons: Meril D. Schrock, Mesa, Ariz.; W. Alan Schrock, Phoenix, Ariz.; and Timothy R. (Silvia) Schrock, Bal Harbour, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Susan E. Eash; and Martha (Wilbur) Kaufman, both of Goshen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother: Ida Yoder; her husband; five sisters: Irma Yoder; Fannie Stutzman; Mary Stutzman; Alta Yoder; and Katie E. Showalter; and two brothers: Omer and Christian Yoder.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday. May 22, at Holdeman Mennonite Church, Wakarusa.

A private burial will take place in Olive East Cemetery, Elkhart.

Memorial contributions may be given to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Holdeman Mennonite Church.
