WARSAW — At least one person was injured this afternoon in an accident involving three vehicles in the parking lot of Discount Tire, next to U.S. 30, Warsaw. One of the vehicles, a red Ford Escape, rolled over onto its side. The injured driver was transported to the hospital.

NEW BUFFALO — The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians’ Four Winds Casinos are pleased to announce Pinktober, which is a series of events that will raise money for the Southwest Michigan affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Pinktober fundraising events include Friday night concerts and a silent auction at Hard Rock Cafe Four Winds, a wine and canvas event, and donating free sliders at New Buffalo’s 10th Annual Harvest and Wine Festival.

WARSAW — Charges of sexual misconduct with a minor, class B felonies, were dismissed this morning, Thursday, Oct. 1 against a North Webster man. Instead he was sentenced on a charge of burglary, a class C felony, which was added on Aug. 18.
