FORT WAYNE – A very good field of teams plus a difficult course pushed Warsaw to the back of the pack at Monday’s Fort Wayne Canterbury Invite at Chestnut Hills. Warsaw finished with a 422, 70 strokes off the pace of tournament champion Fort Wayne Dwenger’s 352 winning score.
CARMEL – The NorthWood girls golf team placed 15th while Wawasee was 17th Saturday in the Fall State Preview.
KENDALLVILLE – Warsaw’s quest to gradually improve with each start was met Saturday at the Lady Tigers placed sixth at the East Noble Invite. Warsaw shot a 409, 28 strokes better than at the Plymouth Invite the team took part in last Tuesday.
SYRACUSE – Wawasee received consistent play from its entire starting five in a dominant home girls golf win Thursday. The Lady Warriors had all five of its golfers in the 40s to post a 169, besting Concord’s 211 and Whitko’s 257 at Maxwelton Golf Club.

WARSAW – It wasn’t pretty. But for August 5, it didn’t have to be. Not one Warsaw golfer broke 50, but only one Rochester golfer posted a score better than 59 as the Lady Tigers managed together a 221 to best visiting Rochester’s 228 Wednesday afternoon at Stonehenge Country Club.
LAFAYETTE – Summer Stillson led the way as the NorthWood girls golf team finished ninth in the loaded Lafayette Jefferson Invitational Tuesday.
