LEO – A busy first week of the season continued Thursday for the NorthWood girls golf team.

The Panthers captured a third-place team finish in the 10-team Leo Invitational.

NorthWood shot a 352 at the Cedar Creek Golf Club to finish behind champion Homestead. which shot a 347, and No. 18 and host Leo, which finished at 351.

Linnzie Richner carded a round of 83 to pace NorthWood, which was playing in its third invitational in the past four days.

Summer Stillson came in with an 87 and Mackenzie Weaver shot an 89. Madison Richner had a 93 to round out the team scoring for the Panthers.

Aubrey Cripe shot a 105 from the No. 5 spot in the lineup for NorthWood. Hope Cripe finished with a 117 for the Panthers.
