WARSAW – The Lakeview Middle School 7th grade boys basketball team picked up a win Tuesday.

WINONA LAKE – The Grace College volleyball team is fired up to play in the NCCAA National Championships.

AKRON — Addy Miller knocked down 7 of 9 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 25 points, and Class 3A No. 5 Tippecanoe Valley bounced back from its first loss of the year with a lopsided, 76-15 win over winless Maconaquah Tuesday.

WARSAW — Penn used swarming full court pressure and a pair of big second-half runs to snap Warsaw’s four-game win streak, 51-43, Tuesday night at the Tiger Den.

WINONA LAKE – Kyle Mangas was outstanding in his return home Tuesday night in leading Indiana Wesleyan past Grace College.

WINONA LAKE – Dayton Groninger returned home Tuesday night to help Indiana Wesleyan top Grace College on the hardwood.

PLYMOUTH — Host Plymouth knocked down 14 of 22 3-pointers, and the Lady Pilgrims handed visiting Triton a lopsided, 56-29 loss at The Rock.

AUBURN – Lakeland Christian Academy dropped its first game of the season in a 33-31 loss at LPC Thursday night.

WINONA LAKE — Lakeland Christian used a fast start to jump out to early leads, then held off visiting Churubusco in a convincing, 47-34 home win Tuesday night.

KNOX – The NorthWood girls swim team opened its season by going 1-1 Tuesday night.

NAPPANEE – The NorthWood girls basketball team dropped a 58-49 contest in overtime to Elkhart Central Tuesday night.

ROCHESTER — NorthWood’s girls basketball team survived a rough second quarter to win its second straight, 36-20, at Rochester Saturday afternoon.

SYRACUSE — Wawasee’s girls basketball team showed grit and hustle in a 42-34 win over visiting Westview in Syracuse Friday night.

BOURBON — Triton’s girls basketball team was outscored 24-11 in the fourth quarter on the way to its second straight loss Friday night, a 52-41 defeat at the hands of South Central (Union Mills).
