NorthWood Swimming: Ladies Go 1-1 To Open Season

NorthWood SportsKNOX – The NorthWood girls swimming team opened its season by going 1-1 in a triangular meet Tuesday night.

The Panthers defeated host Knox 93-75 and lost a 102-73 final to Bremen.

Kate Jarvis led the way for NorthWood as she won the 200 IM and also placed second in the 100 freestyle. Jarvis also teamed with Hannah Eberle, Andrea Williams and Avery Bontrager to place second in the 200 medley relay race.

The duo of Laura Schlock and Sarah Eberle placed first and second respectively in diving for the Panthers.

Betsy Nunemaker finished second in the 50 freestyle and Hannah Eberle was second in the 100 backstroke for NorthWood. The foursome of Bontrager, Nunemaker, Abigail Richner and Morgan Conrad captured second place in the 200 freestyle relay event.
