The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory that will be in effect in Kosciusko County from 1-10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24. Wind chill values as low as 20 degrees below zero are expected. Such frigid winds can result in frost bite or hypothermia in as little as 30 minutes of exposure.

Tara Thornburg, 23, is in critical condition in a Fort Wayne hospital following a shooting in Syracuse early this morning. A 19 year old male was found deceased. His name is not being released by police as extended family is still being notified. An autopsy is expected to be performed today.
Brandon Woody is being sought by police as a person of interest. He is considered armed and dangerous. However police believe this was an isolated incident and no threat to the community.
