Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following accidents:

11:05 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, North CR 325E, south of East CR 300N, Warsaw. Drivers: Bianne C. Finch, 27, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw, and Karen R. Rider, 52 East Backwater Road, North Webster. Finch hit the side of Rider’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

9:10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, East CR 200N and Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Sara J. Kissell, 21, East CR 450N, Leesburg, and Steven E. Thomas, 59, EMS Lane, Warsaw. Kissell was unable to stop in time at a red light to avoid rear-ending Thomas. Damage up to $2,500.

6:40 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, East SR 14 and South Packerton Road, Sidney. Driver: James R. Haney, 63, EMS Lane, Leesburg. Hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.

11:21 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, East Old Road 30, west of North CR 600E, Warsaw. Driver: Johnny E. Frame, 33, North Ward Lane, North Webster. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.

3:05 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, East CR 500N and North CR 925E, North Webster. Driver: Paul E. Rubenacker, 72, East South Barbee Drive, Pierceton. Rubenacker hit an unoccupied Bobcay ATV. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accident:

7:37 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 777 N. Parker St., Warsaw. Driver: Karen K. Gottschalk, 46, EMS Lane, Warsaw. Gottschalk backed into a parked vehicle in the Lassus Gas Station.
