Officer with the North Webster Police Department responded to the following accident:

5:53 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, Backwater Road and SR 13N, North Webster. Drivers: Ian K. Ross, 78, EMS Lane, North Webster, and Thomas L. Spurling, 67, North CR 1000W, Etna Green. Ross was turning when the glare from the sun caused him to turn too wide and collide with the front of Spurling’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accident:

7:13 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, North Detroit Street and CR 350N, Warsaw. Drivers: Sara L. Olds, 22, East Levi Lee Road Lot 187, and Christopher R. Dausman, 19, East CR 550N, Leesburg. Olds was reading a text message and ran into the rear of Dausman’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
