Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following accidents:
12:28 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, North SR 19, south of West CR 250N, Etna Green. Driver: Tim R. Smith, 61, East Main Street, Mentone. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
7:12 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, West US 30, west of North CR 500W, Warsaw. Driver: Thompson F. Schroeder, 80, Apple Road, Bourbon. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:
11:52 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 1855 South County Farm Road, Warsaw. Driver: Ronald J. Kiphart, 62, East CR 1300S, North Manchester. Kiphart dropped some papers while driving. Upon looking down to retrieve the papers, he collided with a light pole. Damage up to $10,000.
1:52 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, North Detroit Street, near Mile Marker 57, Warsaw. Drivers: Brent A. Howard, 36, West CR 300N, Warsaw, and Kenny L. Miller, 38, East SR 14, Akron. Howard turned in front of Miller’s car and Miller was unable to swerve in time to avoid a collision. Damage up to $10,000.
