Whitko Community Schools has announced that classes will be in session this Friday. Originally scheduled as a make-up day due to unprecedented weather-related school delays and closings, all Whitko Community Schools will report on May 16. The last student day of school is June 4.

A small fire at the Warsaw Community Public Library ignited when plastic was left on a hot stove. Firefighters of the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory were called to the library at about 11:30 a.m. today. Fortunately, the only damage caused was to the stove and food, although the library did fill with smoke.
