ELKHART, Ind. — Today at approximately 8:15 a.m., Elkhart County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a robbery that occurred at the Dollar General Store located at 23672 Old U.S. 20. A white male suspect entered the store and demanded money from the cashier. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect left the area riding a moped.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 20’s, approximately 5’03”, 115 pounds with blonde hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a black Carhartt jacket with a white or dark colored sweatshirt underneath, and was wearing a black stocking cap. He had iPhone style ear phones in his ears and was wearing low cut tennis shoes. He left the store and area riding a blue moped that was described as loud.
