ROCHESTER — Tippecanoe Valley’s girls golf team hosted Northfield Thursday.
WARSAW — Warsaw got five solid scores, including four in the 70s, and the Tigers edged out Culver Military by a stroke to repeat as sectional champions at Rozella Ford Friday.
WARSAW — Wawasee’s Luke Griner won a repeat title in the 800 meters, and a number of area athletes punched tickets to the state finals at Thursday’s Warsaw Boys Track and Field Regional.
BREMEN — Wawasee’s Unified Track and Field team was bumped from second to fourth by a pair of scoring errors at the Bremen Sectional over the weekend in an unfortunate turn of events for the Warriors.
MONTICELLO — Tippecanoe Valley’s baseball team went 0-2 at the Twin Lakes Tournament on Saturday, falling 12-6 to Lebanon and 11-1 to Twin Lakes in the second game.
ROCHESTER — Valley’s boys golf team rounded out the three-team standings in a meet with Manchester and Whitko Thursday at Round Barn.
PLYMOUTH — Dakota Parker repeated as sectional champ in the 400 meters, and fellow Tippy Valley senior Jameson Baker collected the discus championship on his way to regional berths in both throwing events as the host Pilgrims completed a team championship sweep at the Plymouth Boys Track and Field Sectional Thursday.
AKRON — Tippecanoe Valley made three runs in the bottom of the first stand up, and the Lady Vikings upset Class 2A, No. 3 Whitko, 3-1, in Three Rivers Conference action at home Wednesday.

WABASH — Tippecanoe Valley’s girls tennis team got two super tiebreaker wins on the doubles courts, but the Lady Vikings were swept in singles play in a 3-2 loss at Wabash Tuesday.
ROCHESTER — Rochester’s boys won their meet with 86.5 points to Valley’s 55 and Triton’s 19.5, while the Lady Zebras topped the pile with a score of 61, the Lady Vikings split with 56 points, and the Lady Trojans finished just six points behind Valley in a three-way track meet in Rochester Tuesday.
