WARSAW — The Tigers made big play after big play while racking up four scores in the second half, turning a tight ballgame into a 35-14 blowout of Class 4A, No. 7-ranked NorthWood on senior night.

KENDALLVILLE — Following a fog delay at an East Noble Regional that was already pushed back from Saturday to Monday, NorthWood’s golfers steadied themselves on their second nine at Noble Hawk Golf Links to finish runners-up and earn a berth to the state finals.

CULVER — NorthWood scored 48 points ahead of Northridge’s 42, and that finish, combined with the team’s historic 35-0 run during the NLC round robin, gave NorthWood sole possession of the NLC crown Saturday.

WARSAW — NorthWood bested last week’s NLC-record score by a stroke with a new sectional-record round of 316, Wawasee claimed runner-up honors with a 357, and the host Tigers earned the last team berth to next weekend’s East Noble Regional with a 372 at Saturday’s Warsaw Sectional.
