NorthWood Completes Another Undefeated NLC Run

PLYMOUTH — NorthWood collected wins over both host Plymouth and Wawasee, while the Lady Warriors split the Northern Lakes Conference three-way at Pretty Lake Thursday evening.

Cybil Stillson fired a 3-over 39 to lead the Lady Panthers to another perfect NLC dual finish, while Kirsten Schrock shot 41, Delaney Davis put up a 42, and Makenna Gall shot 45 for Wood, whose 167 Thursday completed an unblemished 7-0 run in NLC play for an eighth straight season and pushed that unbeaten conference streak out to 57 straight.

Wawasee got a 39 from Tate Cowan, a 44 from Taylor Cripe and a 49 from Valerie Haessig, while Belle Brunner’s 50 completed the Warriors’ team score of 182. They finish NLC play at 4-3.

Plymouth was paced by Olivia Horvath’s 45 and Olivia Waymouth’s 46 on the Pilgrims’ home course. They close NLC dual play at 1-6.

NorthWood’s JV also collected two wins with a 220 score, and Wawasee again split in the junior varsity contest with a 231 to Plymouth’s 263.

Abbie Richner shot 48 to lead the JV Panthers. The Warriors got a pair of 54s from Ava Harker and Rhian Galloway, and Claire McDonald carded 57 for the Plymouth JV.

NorthWood’s varsity I team plays in the Hall of Fame Invitational at Purgatory in NOblesville Saturday at 1 p.m. The varsity II Panthers play in the New Prairie Invitational at Elbel in South Bend at 11 a.m.

Wawasee hosts Central and Fairfield Monday at 4:30 p.m.
