Milford’s proposed 2016 budget managed to successfully cut close to 6 percent from last year, bringing its total to $1,585,450, down from $1,684,402 in 2015. “It will be a tight year,” Town Treasurer Joellen Free stated. This is the second year the town has had to reduce its budget.

KOSCIUSKO — Lambda Chi Omega Sorority has donated $500 to the Cancer Care Fund of Kosciusko County. The sorority provides eye glasses to students in Kosciusko County school districts and donates to several other organizations in the county. Their goal is to give back to the community with the money they raise.

SYRACUSE — Syracuse Police and Turkey Creek/Syracuse Fire Department and Paramedics are responding to a personal injury accident on Syracuse-Webster Road, at the entrance to Wawasee Heights, across from Wawasee High School.
