Lakeland Eagles Aerie 3760
SYRACUSE — The Lakeland Eagles Aerie 3760, Syracuse, recently held a benefit drive, raising $16,586. To date, a portion of the money has been donated to the nationwide PACE Head Start program for children. A portion of the money has also been donated to Riley Cancer Research for Children.
At 8 p.m. Saturday, July 25, additional donations in excess of $9,000 will be distributed among 11 local organizations, including libraries, fire departments, food banks, the Lakeland Area Summer Youth Leagues and two scholarships to be announced.
There will also be a donor of the year award.
Dinner starts at 5 p.m., with the check presentation at 8 p.m. Music and dancing will follow.
