Asko “Whitey” Ruuska, 73, of Syracuse, Ind., passed away on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at his residence. He was born on Oct. 31, 1938, in Haapajarvi, Finland, to Vaino and Hilja (Jussila) Ruuska.
