NORTH MANCHESTER – Jeremy Julian continued his strong play to pace the Tipppecanoe Valley boys golf team to a conference win Monday night.

Julian shot a 41 to take individual medalist honors in leading the Vikings past host Whitko 178-183 in Three Rivers Conference play at the Sycamore Golf Club.

Trevor Neeley and Chandler Newsome each shot a 45 as Valley improved to 5-3 on the season. Cole Cumberland fired a 47 and Kane Stellar a 52 for the winners.

Tim Mensch led Whitko with a 42. Grady Clingerman had a 44, Kaleb Busz 47 and Nic Rose 50 for the Wildcats.

Valley will compete in the TRC Tournament on Saturday at the Rozella Ford Golf Course in Warsaw. Whitko hosts Wabash on Thursday.

The Valley junior varsity dropped a 243-256 final to Whitko.  Sam Rickerd led the winners with a 56. Devin Goggin shot a 60, Cole Cmar 62 and Austin Nettrouer 65 for the JV Wildcats.

Austin Crill led the Valley JV team, now 3-5, with a 62.

Bryston Canada shot a 64, while Noah Hoffman and Chris Schipper each had a 65 for the JV Vikings. Bryce Medford  and Jacob Hoffman each shot a 69.
