ROYAL CENTER — The Lady Trojans snapped a three-game skid with a 46-32 Hoosier North Athletic Conference victory at Pioneer Saturday.

Freshman Jaela Faulkner had a breakout game with 11 points, while Delanie Groves scored nine, and Chelsea Johnson finished with eight for the Lady Trojans (6-8, 2-1 HNAC), who led 16-6 after the first period. Nicole Sechrist, Abigail Powell and Whytnie Miller put up six points apiece in a very balanced scoring performance for Triton.

Pioneer (3-9, 2-2 HNAC) was paced by Madelyn Parsley’s game-high 13 points as the Panthers lost their second straight conference contest.

Triton’s JV also won its game, 28-15.

Alyxa Viers scored 12 to lead the Trojans in that contest. Madison Blickenstaff put up 11 for the JV Panthers.

Triton returns to action at Warsaw Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.
