BOURBON — The Triton High School Marching Band participated in regional contest at Homestead High School on Saturday, Oct. 8. The band received a “gold” rating and is now eligible to participate in the state contest in Indianapolis at Lawrence Central in two weeks. The band is directed by Mr. David Seel.

On Wednesday night the Triton Jr/Sr High School’s Spanish Club had it’s very first culinary experience making churros, a delicious Hispanic pastry. These dedicated students came for a taste of another culture and got exactly that! There were over 50 churros made –with none leftover. The students are celebrating National Hispanic Month.

Bourbon Police say three male juveniles are under investigation after they allegedly stole a Triton High School driver’s education car. Members of the Triton High School Class of 2014 spent the weekend of April 4-6 on their senior trip to Washington, D.C. Their sponsor and assistant principal, Mr. Bob Ross, took a picture of them near the Hoover Memorial. The trip is organized and co-sponsored each year by government and economics teacher, Claire Benge.
