CULVER — Warsaw’s cross country teams ran their string of sectional titles to eight apiece in Culver, while Wawasee’s boys and girls both advanced out of the Elkhart Central Sectional Saturday.

CULVER — Warsaw’s Spencer Britton and Nolan Knight downed Triton’s Chase Butler and Carter Kuntz for the doubles sectional title at Culver Academies Saturday.

WARSAW — The Lady Tigers scored four goals in the first 22 minutes, rolling to an eventual 6-1 sectional semifinal win over Huntington North Thursday.

CULVER — Culver Military Academy won its fifth straight regional title via 4-1 win over Peru at home Wednesday night.

GOSHEN — Warsaw’s girls won their seventh straight title, while the Tigers placed third in the boys meet at the NLC Cross Country Championships at OxBow Park Saturday

SYRACUSE — A key interception late in the first half pushed Warsaw’s halftime advantage out to 28-10, and the Tigers continued to grind in a lopsided Homecoming spoiler at Wawasee Friday night.

WARSAW — The host Tigers advanced via 5-0 sweep of Wawasee, while Columbia City did likewise opposite Whitko, setting up Saturday morning’s Warsaw Sectional finale.

WARSAW — Miriam Hagg, Madelyn Ray and Izzy Ray were all given Academic All-State honors for the 2018 season.

PLYMOUTH — NorthWood tennis earned three championship berths as part of a 4-1 finish at day two of the NLC Tournament in Plymouth Thursday.

WARSAW — Warsaw tennis topped Wawasee 4-1 to extend its sectional championship streak to 18 straight in a final moved indoors to the Warsaw Racquet Club Friday night.

CULVER — Warsaw’s boys golf team made the unique format of the CMA Invitational work for them and carded four scores in the 70s — led by Luke Delp’s low-medalist round — for the team championship at Mystic Hills Saturday.

PLYMOUTH — Concord finished with two champions and two runners-up to win the NLC Tournament, and Plymouth slipped in between Warsaw and the Minutemen to push the round robin-champion Tigers into second place behind Concord in the final conference standings Friday.

PLYMOUTH — Rain and lightning postponed play at the first round of the NLC Tournament Wednesday, but Warsaw had already clinched all three of its first-round singles matches.

WARSAW — A controversial call reversal at the plate kept the door open for Warsaw, and the Lady Tigers scored four runs in the sixth for a 10-6 win over visiting Wawasee Wednesday.
