WARSAW — Three Warsaw girls golfers received Academic All-State honors for the 2018 season.

Miriam Hagg and Madelyn Ray were each given both IHSAA and ICGSA Academic All-State kudos, while fellow senior Isabel Ray was named ICGSA Academic All-State. A total of only 15 golfers around the state were selected for the prestigious IHSAA award, and only 45 were named to the ICGSA rolls.

Hagg and Maelyn will be presented with their IHSAA awards during a ceremony Oct. 5.

Also named to the ICGSA Academic All-State teams were Manchester’s Kelsey Eichenauer and Columbia City’s Leonie Trabert and Leah Bechtold. Also, named to the ICGSA’s Academic All-State Honorable Mention list were NorthWood’s MacKenzie Weaver and Abigail Slabaugh, as well as Manchester’s Madyson Ulrey and Columbia City’s Lindsey Hoskins.
