NORTH WEBSTER — With a tip of the hat to St. Patrick’s Day, North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce celebrated at its annual awards dinner Monday evening, March 13, at the North Webster Community Center.

NORTH WEBSTER — “To be listed in the North Webster Community Guide for free, chamber dues must be paid by Wednesday, Feb. 15,” stated North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce President Sue Ward, Sue’s Creations. An email blast was to be sent Tuesday, Feb. 14, as a final reminder she explained to those in attendance at the meeting Monday, Feb. 13.

NORTH WEBSTER — New officers and board members for 2017 were elected at the general meeting of the North Webster Chamber of Commerce Monday, Oct. 10, held at the Tippecanoe Township Building. President Sue Ward, Sue’s Creations, will serve one more year as president while Karilyn Metcalf, Dixie Sternwheeler Inc. is the new vice-president and poised to move up. Secretary and treasurer will be appointed by the new board for 2017.

NORTH WEBSTER – Declaring Dixie Day Festival a success, North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce President Sue Ward, Sue’s Creations Floral & Gifts, noted during the general meeting Monday, Aug. 8, “Now it is time for the final planning for the Heart of the Harvest Fall Festival.” The meeting was held at the Tippecanoe Township Building large meeting room, a change of venue for the organization.

NORTH WEBSTER — With the news the North Webster American Legion Post 253 was no longer serving food or having the kitchen open after Wednesday, July 13, the North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce voted to move its general monthly meeting to its new, larger office inside the Tippecanoe Township Building. Members can bring their own lunch to the meeting.

NORTH WEBSTER — New board members were welcomed by the North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce at the monthly general meeting Monday, May 16, at the North Webster American Legion Post 253. They are Terry Frederick, Webster Lake Conservation Association and The Watershed Foundation; Jim Smith, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department; and Chris Lusso, Clearwater Carpentry Unlimited.

NORTH WEBSTER — Santa Claus arrived in North Webster and brought the North Pole snow with him Saturday, Nov. 21. First he visited with area kids and they were able to take home a free photo of themselves with him. Each child received a gift from Santa also.

NORTH WEBSTER — A free children’s Christmas party, parade and town tree lighting is being sponsored by the North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, and all area children are invited.

NORTH WEBSTER — Elections of board members highlighted the general meeting of the North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce Monday, Oct. 12, at American Legion Post 253.

North Webster will be featured on the “Our Town” series on South Bend’s PBS TV station WNIT. The show will air from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, on channel 34.

Dixie Day is on the way all day Saturday, July 25. It is sponsored by the North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce and President Sue Ward, Sue’s Creations, asked for more volunteer participation from members at the Monday, July 13, general meeting in the North Webster American Legion, Post 253.
