PIERCETON — First Baptist Church of Pierceton invites the community to a ribbon cutting and open house for the Faris Missionary Manor from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21. Faris Manor will be used as a ministry to missionaries who are on furlough or who are just passing through and need a place to stay and refresh themselves. The church will also offer use of the manor to other churches of like faith on a suggested donation basis to house missionaries, evangelists and other ministry guests they may have traveling through.

Mentone Youth League is sending three teams to the 8U, 10U and 12U boys travel teams have advanced to Town & Country semi-state tournament to begin Thursday.
