The Leesburg soccer team recently captured the elementary championship with a win over Eisenhower. The two teams played an outstanding championship match. The contest was tied at 2-2 after regulation play. It was still deadlocked after overtime and a shootout. Leesburg finally claimed the title in sudden death play.
