SOUTH WHITLEY – Six members of the Whitko girls’ soccer team have been chosen to take part in a pair of All-Star games.

The Wildcats, member of Gary Sims’ program, will participate in the 3rd Annual Indiana Elite North vs. South All-Star Soccer Challenge. The games will be played Nov. 9 at Danville Community High School.

Chosen to represent Whitko are seniors Rachelle Whittaker, Ellyana Blue, Sydney Sims and Jordan Hall, along with juniors Reghan Craig and Heather Bryan.

Blue was the top goal scorer this season for the Wildcats, while Hall was their starting goalie.

Whitko, with nine seniors this fall, posted a 5-7-4 record. The Wildcats ended their season Monday night with a 1-0 loss to Fort Wayne Concordia in sectional action.

The Jr. Division game is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Nov. 9 with the Sr. Division match at 12:30 p.m.
