Tara Thornburg, 23, is in critical condition in a Fort Wayne hospital following a shooting in Syracuse early this morning. A 19 year old male was found deceased. His name is not being released by police as extended family is still being notified. An autopsy is expected to be performed today.
Brandon Woody is being sought by police as a person of interest. He is considered armed and dangerous. However police believe this was an isolated incident and no threat to the community.
The train that derailed in West Virginia at approximately 1:20 p.m. on Monday most likely traveled through northern Indiana, and possibly even Kosciusko County.
