UPDATE: As of 3:15 p.m., fire fighters were back in service.

Emergency personnel are currently responding to a possible house fire located at 5754 South Woodlane Lane.

According to officials, one female and a dog were inside the residence when the fire began but exited the home safely. Officials state that the fire began when residents attempted to heat pipes under the structure.

Pierceton Fire Department has been called to the scene and Sidney Fire Department was called for a full-assist. Winona Lake has been called for a tanker and manpower. Multi-Township EMS is on scene.
