Police are investigating an apparent shooting in Elkhart.

While the Conklin Bay Trail has been open for use since May 20, it was officially opened Thursday morning with a ribbon cutting. Over 100 people attended the event ranging from financial partners, contractors, engineers, donors, committee members and interested individuals.

Three people were arrested in a raid by Kosciusko County SWAT Tuesday, July 28, at 9811 N. Majestic Way, Syracuse, on the south side of Lake Wawasee. The raid was the result of an extensive NET43 investigation based upon numerous reports of alleged narcotics activity at that location.

A group of local citizens came up with the idea to honor the Dixie sternwheel paddle boat. A watercraft parade and pier decorating contest called the Dixie Salute was held on Webster Lake Saturday, July 25. Those wishing to be judged placed yellow ribbons on their displays.

This painting greets me every time I turn on my computer as I have made it my background selection. Cassatt, an American, was born in 844 in Pennsylvania but spent most of her adult life in Paris.

Twelve jury members and two alternates were selected Monday, July 27, in the first day of what is expected to be a five-day jury trial over the April 2018 death of a Pierceton infant.

An Albion man will serve 10 years in prison for dealing methamphetamine to an undercover officer on two occasions.

A Warsaw man will serve three years in prison after a fatal shooting in October 2019.

A Warsaw man is facing two charges of child molesting after allegedly touching a minor multiple times.
