INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Jazz Fest returns with a 10-day lineup celebrating “The Year of the Song” in venues all around town Sept. 10-19. This year’s festival also includes a selection of family-friendly shows open to all ages. Many of the shows will be free.

The festival will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, with a free concert by the Indy Jazz Fest Band, doing a vocal tribute to Frank Sinatra at the Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center.
