NET43 Arrests Three Tuesday Night

SYRACUSE — Three people were arrested in a raid by Kosciusko County SWAT Tuesday, July 28, at 9811 N. Majestic Way, Syracuse, on the south side of Lake Wawasee. The raid was the result of an extensive NET43 investigation based upon numerous reports of alleged narcotics activity at that location.

Arrested were David Charles Reed, 47, Syracuse; Anthony Wayne Pollard Jr., 54, Pierceton; and Reed’s daughter, Kandice Ranae Ferguson, 18, Syracuse.

Reed was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, dealing in a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance. He was held on a $15,250 surety and cash bond.

Pollard was arrested for false informing and visiting a common nuisance. He was held ona  $600 cash bond

Ferguson was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. She was held on a $5,250 surety and cash bond.

Shortly before midnight, Kosciusko County SWAT raided the residence of Reed. Three of the four subjects located within the home were taken into custody and are currently incarcerated in the Kosciusko County Jail. Investigators located narcotics, numerous paraphernalia related items, firearms and cash within the confines of the property.

Additional personnel from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Pierceton and Syracuse Police Departments, the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and Lutheran EMS assisted with this incident.
