WARSAW — The cause of a fire that occurred Sunday afternoon, July 26, is still under investigation, according to the Plain Township Fire Captain.

Plain Township Fire Department and Lutheran EMS were called to a structure fire at 4125 North Runkle Drive in Warsaw at approximately 3:15 p.m. Sunday.

Smoke could be seen coming from the residence. The Plain Township Fire Captain said that despite initial reports indicating that someone was in the home, firefighters did not find anyone at the residence. 

The small fire was extinguished with no injuries to any of the approximately 15 firefighters on scene.
