WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested after threatening a woman and violating a protective order twice in one day.

Juan Alberto Alonzo-Santos, 45, 3762 W. Old Road 30 Lot 21W, Warsaw, is charged with intimidation, a level 6 felony; and invasion of privacy, a class A misdemeanor.

On April 2, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s officer went to a residence regarding a report of an unwanted person. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with a woman, who said she has a no-contact order against Alonzo-Santos, who was at the residence at the time of her initial report.

According to court documents, the officer then attempted to find Alonzo-Santos. After checking several areas in the vicinity without finding him, the officer returned to the woman’s residence. At that time, Alonzo-Santos was located in the woman’s house and then escorted to his residence. Alonzo-Santos told the officer he knew he was not supposed to be at the woman’s residence and that he would not have any further contact with her.

Four hours after the first incident, a second Kosciusko County Sheriff’s officer went to the area regarding a report of an unwanted person. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the woman who called earlier about Alonzo-Santos. The woman told the officer that Alonzo-Santos walked into her residence and that she was scared due to him battering her in the past. Alonzo-Santos then allegedly asked the woman to come with him. When she refused, he told her that if she didn’t go with him, he was going to shoot her. Alonzo-Santos made a finger gun gesture toward her while making the statement.

Alonzo-Santos is under a no-contact order in Kosciusko Superior Court 3, which prohibits him from having contact with the woman.

In this case, Alonzo-Santos was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on May 10, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
