Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

7:12 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, SR 13, south of South CR 500E, Pierceton. Driver: Nicole E. Taylor, 34, Jefferson Street, Silver Lake. Taylor’s vehicle collided with a deer. Damage up to $25,000. 

8:36 p.m. Monday, March 2, South CR 400W, Warsaw. A vehicle struck a mailbox and a parked, unoccupied vehicle, then left the scene. Damage up to $2,500. 

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:

6:56 p.m. Monday, March 2, Huntington Street, Syracuse. A parked, unoccupied vehicle was struck by another vehicle. The other vehicle left the scene. Damage up to $2,500. 

12:56 p.m. Sunday, March 1, Huntington Street, Syracuse. Drivers: Eugene F. Hoover, 64, Martin Street, Ligonier; and Samantha J. Trebilcock, 34, Algoma Road, Green Bay, Wis. Hoover’s vehicle rear-ended Trebilcock’s vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.
