NORTHWOOD 5, CONCORD 0
NorthWood tennis remained unbeaten in a clean sweep of Concord in the Panthers’ Northern Lakes Conference-opener Thursday.

Wes Troyer, Ben Vincent and Chase Horner all won in singles play — Troyer via three-setter — while the tandem of Jack Wysong and Landon Holland and the duo of Bryce Harner and Treyton Martin won in doubles play.

NorthWood’s JV won on five of seven courts. Brady Chupp, Jaxon Miller, Logan Perry, Charles Anderson and Riley Linville were all singles winners.

Wood’s varsity improves to 3-0 and 1-0 in NLC play.

LOGANSPORT 4, TRITON 1
Triton tennis took a 4-1 loss to Logansport Thursday.

The Trojans’ lone win came at 1 doubles, where Jared Bules and Tyler Heckaman outlasted Ethan Denny and Caleb Crook in three sets, 6-4, 0-6, 7-5.

Triton’s JV fell 3-0.

The varsity Trojans slip to 2-3.

WEST NOBLE 5, WAWASEE 0
Wawasee took one on the chin in a sweep at West Noble Thursday.

The most competitive match of the night came at 2 doubles, where Zeke Keim and Blaine Bout lost a tiebreaker to fall 6-3, 7-6(8-6).

Wawasee’s JV split, 3-3. Taylor Fiedeke and Jeb Richey won in singles play, and Devon Kuhn and Fiedeke won in doubles play.

The varsity Warriors dip to 2-2.
