Press Release

NORTH WEBSTER — Many people are looking forward to riding the Dixie Boat, North Webster’s historic paddle boat touring Webster Lake since 1929.

Unfortunately, due to the current novel coronavirus restrictions of social distancing, no large groups and limiting personal travel, The Dixie Sternwheeler, Inc., anticipates that, like other places of public gatherings, it will be asked to suspended its usual Dixie boat cruises until further notice.

As always, the Dixie wants to make sure the crew, the boat and the passengers stay safe. Rest assured The Dixie plans to begin the season just as soon as possible and will update its riders as soon as possible.

Call the information line at (888) 80-DIXIE (803-4943). For specific questions call (574) 834-2385 and ask to speak with Karilyn Metalf, Dixie Sternwheeler president, or leave a message with name and number.
