WARSAW — Shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory responded to a dryer fire at 1320 W. Winona Ave., Warsaw.

Initial dispatch reports of a structure fire led to Winona Lake and Plain Township Fire Departments being called to assist; however, they were disregarded after the cause of the fire was discovered.

The dryer, which was located in the basement of the residence, was quickly removed by firefighters.

Lutheran EMS also assisted at the scene.
