Warsaw Schools Receive Career Ladder Grant
WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools will receive a $100,000 approved by the Indiana State Board of Education.
The Career Ladder program was developed for local education agencies to develop teacher leadership opportunities. The grant will support teacher development while providing high-performing teachers expanded career opportunities in teacher-coaching and in leadership roles. All Warsaw Community Schools will benefit from this grant to be implemented in the 2020-21 school year through the peer-to-peer coaching model.
“In pursuing this grant, we are locating ways to help provide opportunities and financial incentives for our teachers,” said WCS Superintendent Dr. David Hoffert.
