LAFAYETTE – A handful of area bowlers have qualified for the Indiana High School Bowling regionals, which will take place this Saturday at Market Center in Lafayette.

Warsaw’s Tier Morrow won the sectional with a round of 209 in a bowl-off to claim her ticket for regionals. Joining Morrow in Lafayette will be teammate Taylor Fouts, who had the highest individual round score of 275 at the sectional, but wound up third after a 189 in her next round lowered her score.

Also advancing to the regional is Whitko’s Allison Stump who qualified from the sectional with a 155 in the stepladder. Cory Hersha of Whitko was the sectional boys champion and carries the highest average from the Wabacanoe Conference, to which Warsaw and Whitko originate.

The semi-state will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, at Pro Bowl West in Fort Wayne.
