On Wednesday night the Triton Jr/Sr High School’s Spanish Club had it’s very first culinary experience making churros, a delicious Hispanic pastry. These dedicated students came for a taste of another culture and got exactly that! There were over 50 churros made –with none leftover. The students are celebrating National Hispanic Month.

Triton Elementary second grade students enjoyed a field trip to the dunes as part of their studies. The students conducted a variety of learning activities while at the dunes. All of the second grade students are pictured on the beach. The second picture features good friends, Sami Middaugh, Dante Workman and Travis Barnhart.
Triton Elementary School sixth grade students: Brandon Kitch, AJ Austin, Hunter McIntyre and Ryan Farmwald are busy working on research projects in the school library. The computers come in handy for this type of project.
Twice a year, all Triton bus drivers practice an emergency evacuation bus drill at the school. This drill helps the students and drivers to be prepared in case a situation would arise that requires them to exit the bus quickly. This drill was held on Friday, Sept. 12.
Triton Jr. Sr. High School Ag students in Mrs. April Leeper’s Plant/Soil Science class are trying to form soil ribbons. They also are feeling the dirt to determine the type of soil each sample is.
